The current scope of healthcare risk management often includes hands on management of patient claims including direct communication with patients/claimants, investigation of healthcare information related to the claim as well as responding to the discovery of a lawsuit. This presentation will provide the necessary tools to manage the variety of claims encountered in healthcare risk management and the associated documents that often accompany those claims.
